What do you do at DV8?

I teach Music Production and Business Level 2 and Alternative Provision. I have been with DV8 for 4 years.

What were you doing before you started working at DV8

I was a Producer and Studio Engineer as well as touring with my band the Native Souls.

How did you get a job at DV8?

I’m friends with another tutor at DV8 called Fusion and he asked at me to cover a music course for him when he left to work in Los Angeles for a little while.

What makes you good at your job?

My passion for the creative process and my ability to encourage others in bringing out the best in themselves.

What do you do for fun?

I’m a guitarist and I love doing gigs and jam sessions with different people. Some of my music has been used in a Tommy Hilfiger advert. I’m also very much into a bit of photography.

What are your favourite TV Shows, Movies, Books, Bands etc?

My favourite bands are Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Paramore and of course Band of King (my band!) I love watching The Inbetweeners and my favourite film is Avatar.

What is your favourite DV8  moment?

Two of my DV8 students opened a show for N-Dubz at Somerset House in Strand in front of 2000 people. It was a great moment and I was very proud of them.
