Ill blu, (Darius and James) arguably the most prolific UK Funky/House producers, dropped into DV8 to do a ‘Master class’ in music production. It was hosted by the level 1 music production and business course and filmed by SBTV and Sound-Nation. Ill Blu gave the students an insight into the Music industry, as well as giving useful tips and tricks in Music Production. It was a thoroughly informative and useful session for the students.
The dynamic duo exploded onto the UK music scene in 2008 with a funky house anthem ‘Frontline’ featuring Princess Nyah, and since then have collaborated with a spectrum of artists including Craig David, Cheryl Cole, Hot-Chip and Roll Deep. They are about to release their highly anticipated 2012 EP ‘Illusions’.
