Paid Internships in the Creative Industries – Find out how to get involved!

CREATIVE ACCESS
New Deal of the Mind is delighted to be working with, Creative Access, established in April 2012 to provide opportunites for paid internships in the creative industries for young people from under-represented black, Asian and minority ethnic backgrounds. The industries covered include FILM,ADVERTISING, PERFORMING ARTS, PUBLISHING, JOURNALISM, TV and RADIO. The scheme is being sponsored by the CEOs of many of the UK’s leaders in these fields (including ITV, Channel 4, Wall to Wall, HarperCollins, All3Media, Studio Lambert, Shine, Fresh One, Somethin’ Else, Two Four Media, Juniper TV, Mentorn etc) and will offer more than 300 internships / graduate roles in 2012-13.
WHAT WILL I GAIN FROM JOINING OUR CREATIVE ACCESS NETWORK?
You will receive information and access to:
- More than 300 internships / graduate roles in the creative industries in 2012 – 2013.
- Support from NDotM Staff including; creative sector employability skills workshops, help and advice to increase your chance of job success and mock interviews if you are selected by a Creative Access Partner for an interview.
- Networking with other Creative Access members and information sessions covering all of the work of NDotM and the realities of working in the creative sector.

Eligibility –
All applicants must be 18+ and have a permit to work in the UK. The scheme is open to young adults from Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic Backgrounds.
