The Advanced Diploma in Creative and Media is an exciting and innovative qualification that will give students an in depth knowledge about professional practices within the creative and media industries
Studying a Diploma provides an alternative to more traditional learning programmes. You will combine theoretical and practical learning both within college and in specialist work environments outside college, gaining first-hand experience and insight into the world of work
The Advanced Diploma Level 3 qualification is a two-year full-time course equivalent to three and a half A levels (Aimed at those over 16 years)

If you are likely to achieve at least five A*–C grades at GCSE including English language and Mathematics you will be able to study the two-year Advanced Diploma to prepare you for university or employment.

- Complete a range of applied industry projects including staging an event, writing and directing a short film and produce an online magazine
- Explore key media theories
- Explore business and self promotion techniques
- Develop cutting edge ideas within a global context
- Have the opportunity to be mentored by professionals
- Be able to combine the Diploma with an A-level or vocational course
- Gain practical skills at an industry standard
- Gain functional numeracy, communication and ICT skills
- You will also develop your own online e-portfolio to showcase your work
