General Equal Opportunities Policy Statement

Dv8 is committed to a Policy of Equal Opportunities. The aim of the Policy is to ensure that all applicants, students, employees and all those involved in its work and other users of Dv8 facilities receive fair and equal treatment. Dv8 will aim to provide a service that, in its teaching, administration and support, actively promotes equality of opportunity and freedom from discrimination on the grounds of age, cultural background, disability, ethnicity, gender, marital status, race, religion or sexual orientation.

Race Equality Policy Statement

Dv8 is committed to a Policy of Race Equality. The aim of the Policy is to ensure that all applicants, students, employees and all those involved in it’s work and other users of Dv8 facilities receive fair and equal treatment. Dv8 will aim to provide a service that, in its teaching, employment, administration and support, actively strives to:

  • Eliminate unlawful racial discrimination.
  • Promote equality of opportunity.
  • Promote good race relations between people of different racial backgrounds.

Disability Equality Policy Statement

Dv8 is committed to a Policy of Disability Equality. The aim of the Policy is to ensure that all applicants, students, employees and all those involved in its work and other users of Dv8 facilities receive fair and equal treatment. Dv8 recognises the importance of providing all of our students with high quality tuition and support, and providing staff with appropriate levels of resourcing to meet their individual needs. You should expect to study or work in an environment that positively encourages equality of opportunity and challenges discrimination, in any form. DV8 takes great care to support your learning needs and has staff members who have received disability awareness training and aware of the measures & actions required in supporting students’ needs, including physical disabilities, visual impairment, hearing impairment, speech difficulties, learning difficulties e.g. dyslexia, and psychological needs.
